BROTHER JEAN-LOUIS DION
At the end of June 2008, Brother Jean-Louis Dion was returning to Canada after serving the Institute as general archivist since September 1997. He carried out a colossal task: the material organization of the archives, the gathering of documents, the keeping and updating of the Brothers' files, sorting of numerous documents, creation of computerized data, without mentioning his other duties as local Superior (1988-2002), organist, barber, driver and so on… The Institute is indebted to Bro. Jean-Louis Dion for there were so many things to do upon his arrival. His successor will inherit a well organized and functional department. Bro. Jean-Louis put his heart into his work in such a manner that some of his heartbeats will still be faintly heard by his successor in a nook of the archive room. The latter will bow out of respect for the man who accomplished such a great task with such care and accuracy.
