Province of Canada

 During the working session of February 27 and of March 3, 2008, the Superior General in Council named Brother Serge Toupin as Provincial Superior of the Province of Canada, and Brothers René Goyette and Yves Granger, as the full-time first and second councilors respectively.  Also, it approved a list of eight (8) candidates for the positions of Provincial Councilors.  The members of the Provincial Chapter, which was held at Victoriaville on April 12, 2008, completed the makeup of the provincial council by electing four other councilors.  They are, in order of election, Brothers Donald Bouchard, Martin Yelle, Jean-Guy Roy and Dominique Savard.  Brothers Jasmin Houle and Claude Dubreuil were elected as the first and second alternates respectively.
